Campus Chapters

As part of HECOFO’s growing movement to nurture compassion, leadership, and youth engagement, the organization established HECOFO Campus Chapters, dynamic, student-led networks that embody its mission within higher learning institutions.

What began as a small circle of passionate friends who have now grown into a vibrant community of over 250 active members across universities in Tanzania. These chapters serve as centers for awareness, volunteerism, and innovation where young people come together to learn, lead, and serve their communities through HECOFO’s values of empathy, empowerment, and action.

HECOFO Campus Chapters are Currently Active at:

  • University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM)
  • National Institute of Transport (NIT)
  • Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy (MNMA)
  • Ardhi University
  • Herbert Kairuki Memorial University (HKMU)
  • Institute of Finance Management (IFM)
  • Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE)
  • Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA)

Through these chapters, students volunteer in community projects, support charity drives, participate in mentorship programs, and lead peer discussions on mental health, social responsibility, and leadership.

Each chapter acts as a heartbeat of HECOFO’s mission spreading compassion, developing future leaders, and ensuring that every young person becomes a catalyst for positive change.
