The Hearts of Compassion Foundation (HECOFO) is a youth-led, non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting vulnerable children, youth, and communities through education, mental health support, mentorship, and compassionate initiatives that drive sustainable development.
Founded in 2022 and officially registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002 of Tanzania (Registration No. 00NGO/R/7568), HECOFO emerged from a shared conviction that small acts of love can lead to profound, lasting change.
Rooted in grassroots communities, HECOFO works to build capacity, create opportunities, and foster inclusion for those who are often left behind — especially children and youth in vulnerable situations, persons living with disabilities, and young people lacking access to education, skills, and psychosocial support.
